sharda budhist fort in neelam valley azad kashmir

for me it was a wonderful experience to watch this fantastic and historical place..it was built b/w 24-27 a.d in the era of king kanishk-1 he was the prince of nepal now this country is situated at the eastern border of india...this fort was an educational place for budhist religion but beside budhism a number of subjects also been teached here like history,geography philosophy etc.

i've heard many rumours by the residents of sharda many of them believed that this fort has been built by some superstitious creatures...bcoz it has been built at so much height and the stones used in building up this fort r too large to be hold up by 5 people....hope u enjoy these pics n information...:)

BUDHIST FORT IN SHARDA

IT WAS LAST SUMMER WHEN I ENDED UP WITH MY EXAMS AND JUST PLANNED TO GO FOR PAKISTAN TOUR...I SPEND FEW DAYS IN MULTAN,LAHORE,GUJRANWALA,ATTOCK AND LIBERATED KASHMIR..I ENJOYED A LOT IN EVERY CITY BUT THE PEAK OF MY EXCURSION CAME WHEN I REACHED THE CAPITAL OF LIBERATED KASHMIR i.e MUZAFFARABAD.WHERE I MET WITH MY 2 FRIENDS WHO INVITED ME TO VISIT THAT BEAUTIFUL VALLEY..I CAN SAY IT WAS A JOURNEY OF MY LIFETIME.IT IS LIKE A PART OF PARADISE WHICH ALLAH HAS GIVEN US TO THANK HIS BEAUTY.
